
Goldfish Rebrand
A rebranding project for the popular snack food Goldfish®. The goal of the project was to successfully redesign the packaging for three flavors of Goldfish: Original cheddar, Flavor Blasted White Cheddar, and Cheddar Colors. This was a group project, completed with fellow classmates Lindsay Burgin, Molly Collins, and Christian DiMonda.

Getting Started
I began this project by sketching out different kinds of fish and packaging to get into the designing mode and to find inspiration within the project.
I wanted the design to stand out on grocery shelves while also maintaining practicality. During my research phase, I became infatuated with the concept of a fishbowl package.

The Planning
My group decided to go with the idea of a fishbowl hexagon shaped package. The design works well with the subject matter and does an excellent job at attracting the attention of our target audience: families with young children.

The Designing
I had the honor of designing the template for the packaging. With a lot of research and trial and error, I finally created a successful prototype.
It was important that the lid of the package be kid-friendly and resealable for freshness. I created a retractable lip that maintains product freshness and also prevents unnecessary spills.
